Art Natura Málaga's logo presentation

May of 2007- On Thursday the 10th has taken place the ceremony to reward the winner of the contest of ideas to designate the future cultural and leisure space that will be opened in Malaga and in where the major precious stones collection of the world as well as one of the principal mineral collections will be permanently exposed. The act - presided by the mayor of Malaga, Francisco de la Torre and the vice-president of the Geoscience Foundation, Alonso Álvarez de Toledo - served to present the logo of the new space of cultural leisure, Art Natura Málaga. The Foundation has signed an agreement with the European Economic Interest Grouping Royal Collections, owner of the collections, in which they agreed to supervise the museological and museograpic projects of Art Natura Málaga, as well as of the activities, classrooms, workshops and laboratories in the above mentioned Center.

 





Signature the document " 6 key actions to integrate sustainability in the foundations "


May of 2007- On May 3rd, the Geoscience Foundation supported with its signature the document " 6 key actions to integrate sustainability in the foundations " (pop-up con el documento) elaborated by the Environment and Sustainability Group of Foundations of the AEF (Spanish Association of Foundations), that has among its principal aims to promote the sensitization of the foundational sector to sustainability issues.

 This project has counted from the beginning with the interest of the Minister of Environment, Cristina Narbona, who presided at the act of signature in the headquarters of the Foundation of the Spanish Railroads.
